Our tour offers a perfect overview of the most famous Renaissance city. With a local expert who will guide you, you will visit the Galleria Dell'Accademia where you will find the famous statue of David, Michelangelo's masterpiece. With our guide we continue on foot through the streets of the historic center reaching the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's stupendous dome, the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower and finally Piazza Della Signoria, the heart of Florence. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue the Florentine “Visiting Florence in one day” tour to go to Piazza Santa Croce, with the church of the same name where great artists are buried, including Michelangelo. After visiting a leather shop to admire one of the most typical craft works of the city, we have some free time to discover the small jewelery shops, mosaic work, which remind us of the ancient medieval shops. We leave Florence around 17:00 to start the journey back to Rome.
