We leave the city along the fertile valley of Vesuvius that borders the towns that connect Naples and Pompeii : Herculaneum, Torre del Greco and Torre Annunziata. Buried by a blanket of ash and lapilli for a sudden eruption of Vesuvius. Pompeii came back to light after almost 1700 years and as if by magic the everyday life of an ordinary day in the first imperial age remained crystallized in its gestures, in its secrets , in the panic of the last moments.
